I am beyond excited to begin my personal coaching sessions and share my thoughts and experiences with you throughout this journey.
How My Coaching Journey Began...
For as long as I can remember, I have loved listening to people and helping them. My passion for guiding others started with family members and childhood friends. In many ways, my journey into personal coaching began in my early years. Over time, I refined this skill further by tutoring.
I used to teach my younger sibling, cousins, and friends subjects like mathematics, physics, and chemistry. When I started university, I began offering private lessons, using the money I earned to pursue my dreams.
As I entered professional life, I invested in myself with every penny I earned. Whether it was Pilates, English lessons, coding courses, personal development workshops, or travelling abroad, I never hesitated to spend on my growth. I was always committed to mastering new skills. Whenever I faced a challenge or wanted to expand my knowledge, I sought information and guidance from experts.
At a turning point in my life, I started therapy to understand myself better. It is natural for humans to seek self-awareness. However, societal pressures and the fast pace of life often push people to ignore this inner journey. I refused to let fear hold me back from discovering my potential. Beyond therapy, I explored various resources, and after four years of deep self-work, I can proudly say that I know myself better than ever. Yet, I acknowledge that there is still so much more to learn.
When you desire something in life, sometimes the universe presents you with opportunities. After years of self-discovery, my passion for listening and helping others resurfaced. Three years ago, I became a manager, which gave me the chance to engage with people on a deeper level. Through regular one-on-one meetings with my team of 18, I realised that I had a natural ability to guide others. This experience strengthened my belief that I could take this skill even further.
To become a better leader, I took several coaching-related training courses. Initially, my intention was simply to be a more effective manager. However, over time, I felt restricted by my company. I considered looking for new opportunities elsewhere, but no job sparked the excitement I was seeking. Eventually, I made the bold decision to resign without securing another job and left my company at the end of April.
Although I had several business ideas in mind, none felt fully formed at the time. Instead, I decided to focus on my other sources of income while reflecting on my next step. The more I immersed myself in coaching, the more I realised that this was exactly what I had been looking for. Alongside general coaching training, I deepened my understanding of the subconscious mind. As I thought about the positive impact that the support I had received had on my life and career, my decision became clear. I wanted to help others in the same way.
What Is Personal Coaching?
Personal coaches are professionals who help individuals discover their potential, set goals, and progress in their careers or personal lives. Coaching empowers individuals to utilise their inner resources to achieve success.
Unlike consultants or mentors, personal coaches do not provide direct solutions. Instead, they guide individuals in finding their own answers. They help clients define their goals, unlock their potential, overcome obstacles, increase motivation, and take action. Coaches also track progress, assess performance, and adjust strategies when needed.
Coaching can provide support in various areas, including career development, relationship management, communication skills, time management, stress management, and confidence building. Because each person’s needs are unique, coaches use a personalised approach to assist their clients effectively.
How Can Personal Coaching Benefit You?
Goal Setting: A coach helps you define your goals and create an actionable plan to achieve them.
Motivation: A coach boosts your motivation, helping you stay focused on your objectives.
Confidence: Coaching supports you in developing self-confidence by unlocking your potential and recognising your abilities.
Overcoming Challenges: A coach assists you in identifying obstacles and developing strategies to overcome them.
Communication & Relationships: Coaching enhances communication and relationship skills, whether in professional, family, or personal settings.
Coaching empowers individuals to reach their full potential and improve their overall quality of life. However, coaching is not a form of therapy or psychotherapy. It is not suitable for those with serious psychological conditions, and in such cases, seeking professional mental health support is strongly recommended.
